Here's a little piece I made using the freebie image I posted this week. I thought it was about time! I printed the picture onto dissolvable paper, sewed onto it and then dampened with water. Unfortunately the inks weren't waterproof and I lost part of the image but printed it off onto paper, pasted it on and then added some crackle medium. I also added some gold embossing powder. I then layered it to some backing paper which I'd painted with walnut ink and stamped with text. I finished it off with a coat of acrylic wax. It was supposed to be a birthday present for a girl in the Rip 'n Stitch group but I liked it so much I decided to keep it and make her another piece! (I know, I'm sooooo mean)
